Paver Savers performed a Efflorence Treatment, Surface Cleaning & Pressure Washing, Polymeric Sand Install and Natural Stone Sealer to my front and backyard pavers. I had a couple sections with stubborn efflorence that they were able to remove as shown below. I strongly recommend using them rather than trying to do it yourself, its worth the costs. They have professional equipment and personnel that know what they're doing. The owner Jon and foreman Gino were a pleasure to deal with.

Paver Savers cleaned our pavers and restored the polymeric sand. All the unsightly moss and old sand were removed and replaced with a minimum of mess or cleanup. They came when they promised, and they completed the job quickly. The result is great; we have a beautifully clean and well detailed driveway. I would highly recommend them. John C. Holbrook

Paver Savers came highly recommended and rightfully so. Jon spoke with my wife and I and did not rush us off the phone. He agreed to a time and date convenient for us. He arrived when he said he would and we walked around the house. He made an accurate assessment of what was needed to be done and gave us a very fair quote. He answered all our questions and provided a detailed synopsis of all the work that was to be performed. He suggested sand colors which were totally in line with what matched our pavers and made it easy for our discerning eyes to choose a color. He also gave us the pros and cons of clear versus colored coatings, making it easy to choose. We only had to wait a few days for the work to commence, contingent on the weather. Jon explained that any rainy weather would not be conducive to a good result and he completed the cleaning and sand application on a beautiful rain-free day. The stones looked brand new! The clear coating was applied on the next rain-free day and the results were astounding! The clean and coated pavers make our property appearance renewed. We've already received compliments on how nice the property looks, thanks to a job well done!

Jon and his team were a lifesaver for our patio. We were constantly getting weeds and ant hills through the cracks of our patio. Jons team was efficient and make the process quick for us. Once we booked Jon gave us his cell number and answered every question I had especially since we have a dog so we were nervous. He gave us all the tips and tricks to make it last longer and our pavers look brand new. Couldn’t thank him enough.

John and his crew were professional , neat and clean. They made my pool pavers, steps and walkways look brand new at a very good price point, considering the work went into into a project like mine. They literally saved my pavers, true to their name. John was honest and fair and most importantly truthful. Everything he told me I was in for happened just as he explained it up front. No surprises. No upselling. Stuck to his estimate and was there when he said he would be. Easy to communicate and schedule with. Great job and a stress free experience.

I highly recommend Long Island Paver Savers. Jon was a pleasure to work with and delivered on all aspects of the job. The crew was neat, efficient and very professional. Pavers are such a nice embellishment to a home but if they are soiled and lack their original luster it’s nothing but an eyesore. This was well worth the investment and I am extremely satisfied with the final result. Once again I highly recommend this company and you won’t be disappointed!

Professional Paver Cleaning Bellerose, NY

What Your Pavers Look Like When the Work Is Done Right

Bellerose is a village of fewer than 400 homes packed into 0.13 square miles. Lots are small, homes sit close to the street, and your driveway faces the neighborhood directly every single day. When pavers are stained, weed-filled, or faded, there’s nowhere to hide it and in a community this tight-knit, that matters more than it would somewhere else.

The good news is that most of what you’re looking at isn’t damage that requires replacement. It’s surface-level neglect that a proper cleaning and sealing process can reverse. After we finish a job in Bellerose, customers consistently say the same thing: their pavers look the way they did when they were first installed. Not close to it actually like it.

Bellerose homes were largely built between the 1910s and 1950s. That means the driveways, walkways, and patio surfaces on many of these properties are old and they’ve been through a lot of Nassau County winters. Freeze-thaw cycles crack and shift pavers. Road salt eats into unsealed surfaces. Nassau County alone deploys 22,000 tons of salt across its roads every winter, and residents add more to their own driveways. Without a proper sealer protecting the surface, that salt is working against your pavers every single season. A professional clean and seal stops that cycle before it turns into a replacement conversation.

Paver Cleaning Services Long Island Nassau County

Nearly 50 Years of Experience Built on Long Island, Serving Bellerose

We’re a family-owned company based on Long Island, fully licensed and insured, and serving Nassau County homeowners including those in Bellerose and the surrounding 11001 zip code. Our team brings nearly 50 years of combined experience to every job which means we’ve seen the specific kind of damage that Long Island’s climate does to older paver installations, and we know exactly how to address it.

That experience isn’t just a number. When our technicians walk a Bellerose driveway and see efflorescence on brick pavers, shifted joints from years of freeze-thaw cycles, and weed roots working their way through cracked sand we know what’s going on and what it takes to fix it properly. No guessing, no generic approach.

We serve both residential and commercial clients across Nassau and Suffolk counties, and we’re fully compliant with New York’s construction regulations. Bellerose has its own village government and local standards and we show up with the credentials to match.

Brick Paver Cleaning and Restoration Bellerose, NY

A Multi-Step Process Built for Bellerose's Older Homes

We start with a thorough assessment of your pavers what material they are, what condition they’re in, and what’s actually causing the problem. In Bellerose, where many homes date back to the early-to-mid 20th century, that often means older brick or concrete paver installations that have accumulated decades of salt staining, organic growth, and joint erosion. That assessment shapes everything that follows.

From there, we deep clean the surface using commercial-grade hot water systems not the consumer pressure washers you’d rent from a hardware store. The difference is real. Hot water breaks down oil stains, kills mold and algae at the root, and removes the kind of embedded grime that cold water simply pushes around. If efflorescence is present the white mineral deposits that show up on older brick pavers it gets treated and neutralized before anything else happens. Sealing over efflorescence locks it in permanently, which is exactly the kind of mistake that leads to bad results.

Once the surface is clean, any shifted or uneven pavers get addressed. We then install polymeric sand in the joints a material that hardens when activated and resists weed growth for up to 10 years, unlike regular sand that washes out after a few heavy rains. When the surface is fully dry, we apply the appropriate sealer for the specific material. Spring is the natural window for this work in Nassau County, right after winter reveals what the freeze-thaw cycle has done but fall is also a strong option before the next round of cold weather sets in.

Driveway Paver Cleaning and Sealing Bellerose, NY

Every Surface Gets What It Actually Needs

We work with concrete pavers, brick pavers, and natural stone including bluestone, travertine, marble, limestone, and granite. In Bellerose, where Tudor Revival and Colonial Revival homes are common, brick is a frequent material, and it requires a different approach than concrete. The cleaning agents, sealer chemistry, and application method are all matched to the specific surface being treated. There’s no one-size-fits-all formula here.

Our services include paver cleaning, paver sealing, paver restoration, paver repair, polymeric sand installation, and efflorescence treatment. For Bellerose homeowners with driveways and walkways that have seen decades of use, the restoration service is often the most relevant conversation because the instinct to replace is almost always premature when the foundation is still sound. Full paver replacement on Long Island can run $8,000 to $12,000 or more. Restoration is a fraction of that cost, and when it’s done right, sealed pavers in Nassau County conditions can last 20 to 25 years.

We’re fully licensed and insured, which matters especially in an incorporated village like Bellerose that maintains its own local governance and code expectations. We also offer financing options, making the service accessible without requiring homeowners to time it around a specific budget window. Every job comes with clear communication from start to finish something our customers consistently call out in their reviews by name.

How often should I have my pavers cleaned and sealed in Bellerose, NY?

For most homeowners in Bellerose and the broader Nassau County area, cleaning every one to two years and sealing every two to three years is the right cadence. That said, the specific conditions in Bellerose push toward the more frequent end of that range. Nassau County winters are hard on pavers the freeze-thaw cycle, road salt application, and coastal humidity all accelerate surface wear in ways that milder climates simply don’t experience.

If your pavers are older which is common in Bellerose given the village’s 1910s-to-1950s housing stock and haven’t been professionally maintained in several years, the first cleaning and sealing job will likely require more intensive work to address accumulated staining, efflorescence, and joint erosion. After that initial restoration, keeping up with a regular maintenance schedule is much more straightforward and significantly less expensive than letting the damage compound again.

In most cases, yes restoration is absolutely possible, even on older brick paver installations. The key question isn’t how old the pavers are; it’s whether the foundation beneath them is still structurally sound. If the base is stable, we can clean, re-sand, and seal brick pavers that look far beyond saving and bring them back to a condition that surprises most homeowners.

Bellerose homes from the early and mid-20th century often have brick driveways and walkways that have never been professionally sealed. They’ve absorbed decades of road salt, freeze-thaw stress, and organic staining and they look it. But that’s almost always a surface and joint problem, not a structural one. Full replacement on Long Island runs $8,000 to $12,000 or more. Restoration is a fraction of that, and the result, when done correctly, is pavers that look like they were just installed. It’s worth getting an assessment before assuming replacement is the only option.

Polymeric sand is a specially formulated joint filler that, unlike regular sand, hardens when it’s activated with water. Once set, it locks the joints between pavers, resists weed growth, and holds up against the kind of erosion that regular sand can’t survive. In Bellerose, where heavy spring rains follow every winter, regular sand in paver joints often washes out within a season or two which is why weeds keep coming back no matter how many times you pull them or spray them.

The weed problem isn’t just cosmetic. Weed roots work into the joints and cause structural damage over time, shifting and cracking pavers in ways that get expensive to fix. Professionally installed polymeric sand addresses the root cause, not just the symptom. When applied correctly, it can last up to 10 years compared to regular sand that may need replacement after every few storms. It’s one of the most impactful parts of the process for homeowners dealing with persistent weed growth between their pavers.

Nassau County DPW deploys 22,000 tons of road salt annually across the county’s road network. Add in what residents apply to their own driveways and walkways, and paver surfaces in Bellerose are exposed to significant salt contact every winter. Salt is corrosive to unsealed paver surfaces it penetrates the material, causes surface spalling (small chips and flaking), and leaves behind staining that becomes harder to remove the longer it sits.

The most effective protection is a quality sealer applied after a thorough professional cleaning. A properly applied sealer creates a barrier that prevents salt and moisture from penetrating the surface, which is what causes the freeze-thaw cracking and spalling cycle in the first place. If your pavers already show signs of salt damage white staining, surface roughness, or flaking that needs to be addressed and cleaned before sealing, not covered over. Sealing over salt-damaged or dirty pavers locks the problem in rather than solving it, which is why the cleaning step is non-negotiable.

Both windows work, but they serve different purposes. Spring is the most popular time for paver cleaning and sealing in Nassau County because winter reveals the damage cracked joints, staining, shifted pavers and homeowners want everything looking right before summer. If your pavers need significant cleaning and restoration work, spring is usually the better starting point.

Fall sealing, on the other hand, is a strong protective move. Getting a clean seal on your pavers before the first freeze means the surface is protected going into the most damaging season of the year. Road salt, ice melt, and freeze-thaw cycles do their worst damage to unsealed pavers so sealing in October or early November gives your hardscaping a real advantage heading into winter. The one thing to be aware of: sealers require dry conditions and temperatures above a certain threshold to cure properly, so timing matters. We’ll walk you through the right window based on your specific situation and the current condition of your pavers.

The first thing to confirm is that the company is fully licensed and insured. This isn’t just a formality the barrier to entry for offering paver sealing is low, and unlicensed operators are common in the Nassau County market. If something goes wrong with an unlicensed contractor’s work on your property, you have very limited recourse. Ask for proof of insurance before anyone starts work.

Beyond licensing, look for a company that specializes in pavers rather than one that offers it as a side service alongside other unrelated work. A specialist has seen far more paver conditions, knows the difference between sealer types, understands how to treat efflorescence before sealing rather than over it, and uses commercial-grade equipment rather than consumer hardware. In a village like Bellerose where homes are close together, lots are small, and word travels fast the company’s track record in Nassau County matters. Check reviews, ask if technicians are named and consistent, and make sure the company can clearly explain the process before they start. If they can’t walk you through what they’re doing and why, that’s a red flag.
