Paver Savers performed a Efflorence Treatment, Surface Cleaning & Pressure Washing, Polymeric Sand Install and Natural Stone Sealer to my front and backyard pavers. I had a couple sections with stubborn efflorence that they were able to remove as shown below. I strongly recommend using them rather than trying to do it yourself, its worth the costs. They have professional equipment and personnel that know what they're doing. The owner Jon and foreman Gino were a pleasure to deal with.Posted on Google![]()

Paver Savers cleaned our pavers and restored the polymeric sand. All the unsightly moss and old sand were removed and replaced with a minimum of mess or cleanup. They came when they promised, and they completed the job quickly. The result is great; we have a beautifully clean and well detailed driveway. I would highly recommend them. John C. Paver Savers came highly recommended and rightfully so. Jon spoke with my wife and I and did not rush us off the phone. He agreed to a time and date convenient for us. He arrived when he said he would and we walked around the house. He made an accurate assessment of what was needed to be done and gave us a very fair quote. He answered all our questions and provided a detailed synopsis of all the work that was to be performed. He suggested sand colors which were totally in line with what matched our pavers and made it easy for our discerning eyes to choose a color. He also gave us the pros and cons of clear versus colored coatings, making it easy to choose. We only had to wait a few days for the work to commence, contingent on the weather. Jon explained that any rainy weather would not be conducive to a good result and he completed the cleaning and sand application on a beautiful rain-free day. The stones looked brand new! The clear coating was applied on the next rain-free day and the results were astounding! The clean and coated pavers make our property appearance renewed. We've already received compliments on how nice the property looks, thanks to a job well done!Posted on Google![]()

Jon and his team were a lifesaver for our patio. We were constantly getting weeds and ant hills through the cracks of our patio. Jons team was efficient and make the process quick for us. Once we booked Jon gave us his cell number and answered every question I had especially since we have a dog so we were nervous. He gave us all the tips and tricks to make it last longer and our pavers look brand new. Couldn’t thank him enough.Posted on Google![]()

John and his crew were professional , neat and clean. They made my pool pavers, steps and walkways look brand new at a very good price point, considering the work went into into a project like mine. They literally saved my pavers, true to their name. John was honest and fair and most importantly truthful. Everything he told me I was in for happened just as he explained it up front. No surprises. No upselling. Stuck to his estimate and was there when he said he would be. Easy to communicate and schedule with. Great job and a stress free experience.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend Long Island Paver Savers. Jon was a pleasure to work with and delivered on all aspects of the job. The crew was neat, efficient and very professional. Pavers are such a nice embellishment to a home but if they are soiled and lack their original luster it’s nothing but an eyesore. This was well worth the investment and I am extremely satisfied with the final result. Once again I highly recommend this company and you won’t be disappointed!Posted on Google![]()

Paver Cleaning Services Aquebogue NY
There’s a specific kind of frustration that comes with pulling back into your Aquebogue property after a long winter away and seeing what the season did to your patio or driveway. The pavers that looked solid in October are now stained green, the joints are full of weeds, and the sand that held everything together has washed out through a few nor’easters. It’s not just cosmetic that’s real structural damage accumulating while no one was watching.
Professional paver cleaning addresses what you’re actually looking at: embedded biological growth, eroded joints, salt and mineral deposits, and surface staining that doesn’t come off with a garden hose. When the work is done right, you’re not just looking at cleaner pavers you’re looking at pavers that are sealed, stabilized, and protected before the next season starts.
For Aquebogue homeowners, especially those in waterfront communities like Baywoods or along Peconic Bay Boulevard, the coastal salt air adds another layer to this problem. Salt air doesn’t just dirty surfaces it actively breaks down sealer coatings faster than in inland communities. Getting ahead of that cycle, rather than chasing it, is what keeps your hardscape from becoming a much bigger repair conversation down the road.
Professional Paver Cleaning Aquebogue NY
We’re a family-owned company based in West Babylon, fully licensed and insured, serving residential and commercial clients across Nassau and Suffolk counties including Aquebogue and the surrounding North Fork communities. Our team brings nearly 50 years of combined experience to every job, which means we’ve worked through every Long Island weather scenario, every paver material, and every type of damage that coastal Suffolk County can produce.
That experience matters more than it might sound. Aquebogue’s environment Peconic Bay salt air, freeze-thaw cycles, high humidity, agricultural dust from the surrounding farmland creates a specific set of conditions that a general pressure washing company isn’t necessarily equipped to handle. We work with concrete, brick, and natural stone, and our approach is tailored to what’s actually in front of us, not a one-size-fits-all service run.
Named technicians show up in customer reviews again and again Jon, Gino, Jonathan, John, Marlo because this isn’t an anonymous crew. It’s a team that takes the work personally, and it shows in the results.
Paver Restoration Process Aquebogue NY
The job starts with an honest assessment of what you’re working with. Not every paver situation needs the same treatment, and the first step is understanding whether you’re looking at a cleaning job, a restoration, or something in between. For seasonal homeowners returning to their Aquebogue property in spring, that assessment often reveals more than expected a winter’s worth of freeze-thaw damage, biological growth that’s had months to take hold, and joint sand that’s long gone.
From there, our cleaning phase uses commercial-grade hot water pressure systems not consumer equipment. The difference matters here because Aquebogue’s coastal humidity creates algae and mold growth that cold water alone won’t fully remove. The hot water systems reach into the surface in a way that leaves it genuinely clean, not just rinsed.
Once the surface is clean and fully dry, we install polymeric sand back into the joints. This is the step most people don’t know about until a professional explains it. Regular sand washes out Aquebogue gets plenty of rain, and the proximity to Peconic Bay means moisture is a constant factor. Polymeric sand hardens when activated, locks the joints, and resists both weed infiltration and ant tunneling. After that, we apply a high-quality sealer chosen for the specific material and the coastal conditions of this area. The result holds up and it’s designed to.

Brick and Patio Paver Cleaning Aquebogue NY
We handle the full range of paver surfaces concrete pavers, brick pavers, and natural stone including bluestone, travertine, and limestone. For Aquebogue properties, that last category comes up more often than you’d think. Higher-end waterfront homes in communities like Baywoods frequently feature premium natural stone on patios and pool surrounds, and those materials require a different hand than standard concrete. We’re experienced with all of it.
Our services include paver cleaning, paver sealing, full paver restoration, targeted paver repair and releveling, polymeric sand installation, and efflorescence treatment. Efflorescence those white mineral deposits that appear on the surface is something a lot of Aquebogue homeowners notice after winter, and it has to be treated and neutralized before sealing. If you seal over it, it’s locked in permanently. That’s the kind of detail that separates a proper job from one that looks fine for a season and then starts showing problems.
For driveways, patios, walkways, and pool decks, our approach is the same: assess what’s there, clean it correctly, address the joints, and seal with a product suited to the material and the environment. Aquebogue’s proximity to tidal waterways like Meetinghouse Creek and Reeves Creek means moisture and salt exposure are real factors in product selection, not afterthoughts. We also offer financing for homeowners who want the work done right without having to time it around a single budget cycle.
How often should I seal my pavers if I live near Peconic Bay in Aquebogue?
For most Long Island properties, a sealing cycle of every two to three years is standard. But for Aquebogue homeowners in waterfront communities like Baywoods or along Peconic Bay Boulevard, the honest answer is closer to every two years and sometimes sooner depending on the material and how much direct bay exposure the surface gets. Salt air is corrosive to sealer coatings in a way that inland properties don’t experience. The protective layer degrades faster, which means the pavers underneath lose their protection faster too.
The practical test is simple: pour a small amount of water on the surface. If it beads up and sits on top, the sealer is still doing its job. If it soaks in, the sealer is gone and the surface is vulnerable. For seasonal homeowners who aren’t on-site to notice this change gradually, checking on arrival each spring is a good habit. If the water is soaking in, it’s time to call you don’t want to go through another North Fork winter with unsealed pavers absorbing moisture and going through freeze-thaw cycles unprotected.
My pavers look terrible after winter do I need to replace them or can they be restored?
In most cases, restoration is the right answer and the cost difference is significant. Full paver replacement on Long Island runs anywhere from $8,000 to $12,000 or more depending on the size and material. Professional cleaning and restoration is a fraction of that. The key question is whether the foundation underneath is still structurally sound. If the base is stable and you’re dealing with staining, biological growth, faded color, eroded joints, and maybe some shifted pavers, that’s a restoration job not a replacement.
For Aquebogue homeowners returning in spring after a seasonal absence, the damage can look worse than it is. A winter’s worth of algae growth, weed infiltration, and surface staining is alarming at first glance, but it’s often entirely reversible with the right process. Our assessment step exists specifically to answer this question honestly whether that’s a full restoration, targeted repair, or a cleaning and reseal. You’ll know what you’re actually dealing with before any work starts.
What is polymeric sand and why does it matter for my Aquebogue patio or driveway?
Polymeric sand is a joint filler that contains binding agents when it gets wet and then dries, it hardens and locks in place. Regular sand, by contrast, washes out with rain. Given how much precipitation Aquebogue sees January alone averages over four inches of rainfall, and nor’easters can dump significantly more regular sand in paver joints doesn’t last long. Once the sand erodes, the joints are open to weed seeds, ant tunneling, and eventually structural movement as the pavers lose their lateral support.
Professionally applied polymeric sand can last up to ten years when installed correctly. The installation process matters: the surface has to be completely clean and dry, the sand has to be properly compacted into the joints, and the activation has to be done right. It’s not a product you can apply the same way you’d pour sand from a bag the prep and technique determine whether it holds. For Aquebogue properties that sit vacant through the winter, having solid polymeric sand in the joints means the pavers are stable and protected even when no one is there to maintain them.
Can you clean and seal pavers at my Aquebogue property even if I'm not there in person?
Yes, and this comes up regularly with Aquebogue’s seasonal homeowner population. A significant portion of homes in the 11931 ZIP code are second properties owners are often in the city or elsewhere during the week, or they’ve asked for the work to be completed before they arrive for the season. We handle this routinely. Our team communicates clearly throughout the process, and the named technicians who show up are accountable by name not an anonymous crew you’ve never met.
What this looks like practically: you get a clear timeline before the job starts, updates during the process, and before-and-after documentation so you can see exactly what was done. We’re careful with the property furniture gets moved and replaced, no mess is left behind, and the surrounding landscape is treated with the same care as the pavers. For homeowners managing a North Fork property remotely, that level of communication and accountability is what makes the difference between a service you can trust from a distance and one you have to babysit.
How long does the paver cleaning and sealing process take from start to finish?
The timeline depends on the size of the area, the condition of the pavers, and the weather. For a typical residential patio or driveway in Aquebogue, the cleaning and sealing process generally takes one to two days on-site. The cleaning happens first, and the pavers need to be completely dry before sealer goes down moisture trapped under sealer causes cloudiness and adhesion failure. On Long Island, especially in a coastal community like Aquebogue where humidity stays elevated, that drying window matters more than it would in a drier climate.
If the job includes polymeric sand installation, efflorescence treatment, or paver releveling, those steps add time but they’re part of doing the job correctly, not padding. For seasonal homeowners trying to time the work before arriving for the summer, spring is the right window to book. Demand picks up quickly once the weather turns, and Aquebogue properties that have been through a full winter often need more work than a quick clean. Booking early gives you the best chance of having everything done before your first weekend out here.
Is paver sealing worth it for a vacation rental property in Aquebogue?
For rental property owners, the case for professional paver cleaning and sealing is straightforward. Guests photograph outdoor spaces. A faded, weed-choked patio or a stained driveway shows up in those photos, and it shows up in reviews. In a market like Aquebogue, where vacation rentals compete with the visual standard set by the North Fork wine country aesthetic think Paumanok Vineyards, The Vineyards at Aquebogue, properties along Route 25 where outdoor presentation is part of the identity a neglected hardscape stands out in the wrong way.
Beyond the aesthetic argument, there’s a maintenance argument. Rental properties see heavier foot traffic than primary residences, and the pavers take more wear. Sealing protects the surface from staining, slows biological growth, and stabilizes the joints so the pavers hold up through a busy rental season. A property that’s professionally maintained also tends to require less reactive repair over time which matters when you’re managing the property remotely and can’t catch small problems before they become bigger ones. The investment in regular cleaning and sealing pays for itself in reduced repair costs and a rental listing that looks the part.
