Paver Savers performed a Efflorence Treatment, Surface Cleaning & Pressure Washing, Polymeric Sand Install and Natural Stone Sealer to my front and backyard pavers. I had a couple sections with stubborn efflorence that they were able to remove as shown below. I strongly recommend using them rather than trying to do it yourself, its worth the costs. They have professional equipment and personnel that know what they're doing. The owner Jon and foreman Gino were a pleasure to deal with.Posted on Google![]()

Paver Savers cleaned our pavers and restored the polymeric sand. All the unsightly moss and old sand were removed and replaced with a minimum of mess or cleanup. They came when they promised, and they completed the job quickly. The result is great; we have a beautifully clean and well detailed driveway. I would highly recommend them. John C. Paver Savers came highly recommended and rightfully so. Jon spoke with my wife and I and did not rush us off the phone. He agreed to a time and date convenient for us. He arrived when he said he would and we walked around the house. He made an accurate assessment of what was needed to be done and gave us a very fair quote. He answered all our questions and provided a detailed synopsis of all the work that was to be performed. He suggested sand colors which were totally in line with what matched our pavers and made it easy for our discerning eyes to choose a color. He also gave us the pros and cons of clear versus colored coatings, making it easy to choose. We only had to wait a few days for the work to commence, contingent on the weather. Jon explained that any rainy weather would not be conducive to a good result and he completed the cleaning and sand application on a beautiful rain-free day. The stones looked brand new! The clear coating was applied on the next rain-free day and the results were astounding! The clean and coated pavers make our property appearance renewed. We've already received compliments on how nice the property looks, thanks to a job well done!Posted on Google![]()

Jon and his team were a lifesaver for our patio. We were constantly getting weeds and ant hills through the cracks of our patio. Jons team was efficient and make the process quick for us. Once we booked Jon gave us his cell number and answered every question I had especially since we have a dog so we were nervous. He gave us all the tips and tricks to make it last longer and our pavers look brand new. Couldn’t thank him enough.Posted on Google![]()

John and his crew were professional , neat and clean. They made my pool pavers, steps and walkways look brand new at a very good price point, considering the work went into into a project like mine. They literally saved my pavers, true to their name. John was honest and fair and most importantly truthful. Everything he told me I was in for happened just as he explained it up front. No surprises. No upselling. Stuck to his estimate and was there when he said he would be. Easy to communicate and schedule with. Great job and a stress free experience.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend Long Island Paver Savers. Jon was a pleasure to work with and delivered on all aspects of the job. The crew was neat, efficient and very professional. Pavers are such a nice embellishment to a home but if they are soiled and lack their original luster it’s nothing but an eyesore. This was well worth the investment and I am extremely satisfied with the final result. Once again I highly recommend this company and you won’t be disappointed!Posted on Google![]()

Paver Cleaning Services Nassau County
Carle Place homeowners are sitting on some of the most valuable real estate in Nassau County. Median home sale prices here have climbed past $900,000, and the driveway, walkway, or patio out front is part of that picture whether you think about it that way or not. When those surfaces are faded, stained, or growing weeds in every joint, they drag down the look of a property that deserves better.
The bigger issue is what’s happening underneath the surface. Carle Place sits at the convergence of the Meadowbrook State Parkway, Northern State Parkway, and Glen Cove Road a stretch that sees over 38,000 vehicles daily. Every winter, road salt and de-icing chemicals from those corridors migrate onto residential driveways and walkways throughout the hamlet. Salt doesn’t just bleach color. It draws moisture into the paver matrix, accelerates freeze-thaw cracking, and breaks down joint sand faster than it would in a quieter, more isolated community. Left alone, that damage compounds.
After a proper cleaning and sealing, your pavers are protected against that cycle. Colors come back. Joints are stable. Water beads off the surface instead of soaking in. You’re not looking at a full replacement which runs $8,000 to $12,000 or more in Nassau County anytime soon. Sealed pavers can last 20 to 25 years. Unsealed ones in conditions like Carle Place’s typically need replacement in 7 to 10.
Professional Paver Cleaning Long Island
We’re a family-owned company based in West Babylon, NY, serving residential and commercial clients across Nassau and Suffolk counties. Our team brings nearly 50 years of combined experience in paver cleaning, sealing, and restoration not a general pressure washing crew that added pavers to their menu, but a company that has focused on this specific work for a long time.
That depth matters when you’re dealing with the conditions Carle Place throws at hardscape. The freeze-thaw cycles here are relentless. The salt exposure from the parkway corridors is real. And a lot of the housing stock including the Levitt-era and mid-century homes along streets like Cherry Lane and Rushmore Avenue has pavers and concrete stoops that are decades old and overdue for professional attention.
We’re fully licensed and insured, adhering to New York’s construction regulations. When you hire a company to work on a property worth this much, that’s not a minor detail.
Paver Restoration Process Carle Place, NY
The process starts with a thorough assessment of your pavers what material they are, what condition they’re in, whether there’s efflorescence buildup, how the joints look, and whether any pavers have shifted or settled. In Carle Place, sandy outwash soils are common across the hamlet, and they can allow subbase erosion under pavers over time. If there’s any settling or unevenness, we address that before anything else.
From there, the cleaning happens using commercial-grade hot water systems and professional rotary surface cleaners not the kind of equipment you rent from a hardware store. Hot water reaches oil, grease, mold, and embedded grime that cold water simply won’t touch. It also cleans evenly, without the streaking or surface etching that consumer pressure washers can cause. Any efflorescence the white mineral deposits that appear on older pavers gets treated and neutralized at this stage, not sealed over.
Once the surface is fully clean and dry, we install polymeric sand in the joints. This is a hardening sand that locks in place when activated, resists weed infiltration, and holds up against the kind of freeze-thaw stress Carle Place pavers face every winter. Sealing is the final step, applied only after everything is completely dry. The result is a surface that’s protected, stable, and looks the way it should. Spring is the natural window for this work on Long Island after winter reveals the damage and before summer entertaining begins though fall is a solid secondary option before the next freeze cycle.

Brick Paver Cleaning and Sealing Carle Place
We work across all paver materials concrete pavers, brick pavers, and natural stone including bluestone, travertine, marble, limestone, and granite. In Carle Place, where the housing stock ranges from original Levitt-era construction to more recently upgraded colonials and split-levels, that range of materials shows up on real jobs. Older homes often have brick walkways and concrete stoops. Newer renovations frequently feature natural stone patios and paver driveways. The cleaning approach, sealer selection, and joint sand treatment are tailored to the specific material not a one-size approach applied to everything.
Applications we cover include driveways, patios, walkways, pool surrounds, and commercial hardscapes. The Glen Cove Road corridor running through Carle Place includes commercial properties with ongoing maintenance needs, and we serve both residential and commercial clients across Nassau County. That commercial experience carries real credibility the equipment, the process standards, and the attention to detail required for commercial work translate directly to residential jobs.
If your pavers are shifted, cracked, or sinking, we offer restoration and repair as an alternative to full replacement and given Nassau County replacement costs, it’s almost always the smarter call when the foundation is still sound. Financing options are also available, which makes it easier to address a driveway, patio, and walkway in a single project rather than putting it off.
How does road salt from the parkways affect paver condition in Carle Place?
Carle Place sits at the junction of the Meadowbrook State Parkway, Northern State Parkway, and Glen Cove Road all heavily salted during winter months. Salt doesn’t just discolor pavers. It penetrates into the paver matrix and the joint sand, drawing moisture deeper into the surface. When temperatures drop, that moisture expands, which forces joints apart and accelerates cracking. Repeat that cycle a few dozen times over a Nassau County winter and you start to see real structural deterioration, not just cosmetic fading.
The most effective defense is a quality sealer applied over a properly cleaned surface. Sealer creates a barrier that limits how much salt and moisture can penetrate. It won’t make pavers bulletproof, but it significantly slows the damage cycle. For Carle Place properties close to Glen Cove Road or the parkway interchange areas, staying on a consistent cleaning and sealing schedule roughly every two to three years makes a meaningful difference in how long your pavers hold up.
My pavers look really bad is restoration still possible, or do I need replacement?
In most cases, restoration is still possible even when pavers look significantly deteriorated. The key question is whether the foundation is still structurally sound. If the subbase is stable and the pavers themselves aren’t cracked beyond repair, cleaning, re-sanding, and sealing can bring the surface back to looking the way it did when it was installed. Customers regularly describe the result as their pavers looking brand new even after 15 or more years of neglect.
Full paver replacement in Nassau County runs $8,000 to $12,000 or more depending on the size and scope. That’s a significant cost, and it’s often unnecessary. We specifically position restoration as the first option to evaluate before replacement, and our team will give you an honest assessment of whether your pavers can be brought back or whether there’s a structural issue that warrants something more involved. For Carle Place homeowners with aging Levitt-era driveways or mid-century brick walkways, that evaluation is worth having before assuming the worst.
How often should pavers in Carle Place, NY be cleaned and sealed?
For most Long Island properties, cleaning every one to two years and sealing every two to three years is the right cadence. Carle Place’s specific conditions road salt exposure from the major highway corridors, Nassau County’s freeze-thaw cycles, and humid summers that accelerate algae and mold growth put pavers here on the more demanding end of that range. Waiting five or six years between professional cleanings is when you start to see staining become permanent, joint sand wash out completely, and weed roots cause structural damage to the joints.
The easiest way to gauge whether it’s time is to watch how water behaves on the surface. If water soaks in rather than beading up, the sealer has worn down and the surface is unprotected. Visible efflorescence the white mineral deposits common on older pavers is another sign. And if you’re pulling weeds from between your pavers every season, the joint sand is gone and polymeric sand installation is overdue. Address it before the damage becomes obvious; by that point, the restoration work is more involved.
What is polymeric sand and why does it matter for paver joints?
Polymeric sand is a jointing sand that contains binding agents when it’s activated with water, it hardens and locks into place between paver joints. Regular sand washes out after a few heavy rains, leaving gaps that invite weeds, allow ants to tunnel, and let moisture penetrate more easily into the subbase. On Long Island, where spring rains are heavy and the sandy outwash soils common in Carle Place drain quickly, regular sand has a short lifespan in paver joints.
Professionally installed polymeric sand can last up to 10 years. It resists weed infiltration, holds up against freeze-thaw movement better than loose sand, and keeps the joint structure stable between cleaning and sealing cycles. It’s one of the more impactful parts of the full paver maintenance process not a cosmetic add-on. If your joints are currently open or showing weed growth, getting polymeric sand installed as part of a cleaning and sealing project addresses the problem at the source rather than just treating the surface.
Can I seal my own pavers instead of hiring a professional?
You can, but the results are usually short-lived and sometimes make the problem worse. The most common DIY mistakes are sealing over a surface that wasn’t properly cleaned, using the wrong sealer type for the paver material, and applying sealer in conditions that aren’t right too humid, too cold, or before the surface is fully dry. When sealer traps moisture underneath it, you get a white haze or cloudy appearance that’s difficult to remove. When the wrong sealer chemistry is used, you can end up with peeling, poor adhesion, or a slippery surface.
Beyond the chemistry, there’s the equipment gap. Consumer pressure washers don’t deliver the heat volume that commercial hot water systems do. They can clean the surface visually but leave behind embedded mold, oil, and grime that causes the sealer to fail early. The DIY approach also takes significantly more time than most homeowners expect surface prep alone can run four to eight hours before you even open the sealer. For a Carle Place property worth $800,000 or more, the risk of a failed DIY seal job isn’t worth the savings.
Does Paver Savers work on commercial properties in the Carle Place area?
Yes. We serve both residential and commercial clients across Nassau and Suffolk counties, and the Carle Place area has real commercial demand given the density of retail and commercial properties along Glen Cove Road and the Old Country Road corridor near Roosevelt Field Mall. Commercial hardscapes parking lot pavers, entrance walkways, plaza surfaces take heavy foot and vehicle traffic and typically need more frequent professional maintenance than residential applications.
The same process applies on the commercial side: assessment, deep cleaning with commercial-grade equipment, polymeric sand installation where needed, and sealing with products appropriate for the surface type and traffic load. For commercial property managers in Carle Place and the broader Nassau County area, we offer the licensed, insured, and experienced option that a commercial property requires. If you’re managing a commercial property and want to discuss scope and scheduling, financing options are available to make larger projects more manageable.
