Paver Savers performed a Efflorence Treatment, Surface Cleaning & Pressure Washing, Polymeric Sand Install and Natural Stone Sealer to my front and backyard pavers. I had a couple sections with stubborn efflorence that they were able to remove as shown below. I strongly recommend using them rather than trying to do it yourself, its worth the costs. They have professional equipment and personnel that know what they're doing. The owner Jon and foreman Gino were a pleasure to deal with.Posted on Google![]()

Paver Savers cleaned our pavers and restored the polymeric sand. All the unsightly moss and old sand were removed and replaced with a minimum of mess or cleanup. They came when they promised, and they completed the job quickly. The result is great; we have a beautifully clean and well detailed driveway. I would highly recommend them. John C. Paver Savers came highly recommended and rightfully so. Jon spoke with my wife and I and did not rush us off the phone. He agreed to a time and date convenient for us. He arrived when he said he would and we walked around the house. He made an accurate assessment of what was needed to be done and gave us a very fair quote. He answered all our questions and provided a detailed synopsis of all the work that was to be performed. He suggested sand colors which were totally in line with what matched our pavers and made it easy for our discerning eyes to choose a color. He also gave us the pros and cons of clear versus colored coatings, making it easy to choose. We only had to wait a few days for the work to commence, contingent on the weather. Jon explained that any rainy weather would not be conducive to a good result and he completed the cleaning and sand application on a beautiful rain-free day. The stones looked brand new! The clear coating was applied on the next rain-free day and the results were astounding! The clean and coated pavers make our property appearance renewed. We've already received compliments on how nice the property looks, thanks to a job well done!Posted on Google![]()

Jon and his team were a lifesaver for our patio. We were constantly getting weeds and ant hills through the cracks of our patio. Jons team was efficient and make the process quick for us. Once we booked Jon gave us his cell number and answered every question I had especially since we have a dog so we were nervous. He gave us all the tips and tricks to make it last longer and our pavers look brand new. Couldn’t thank him enough.Posted on Google![]()

John and his crew were professional , neat and clean. They made my pool pavers, steps and walkways look brand new at a very good price point, considering the work went into into a project like mine. They literally saved my pavers, true to their name. John was honest and fair and most importantly truthful. Everything he told me I was in for happened just as he explained it up front. No surprises. No upselling. Stuck to his estimate and was there when he said he would be. Easy to communicate and schedule with. Great job and a stress free experience.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend Long Island Paver Savers. Jon was a pleasure to work with and delivered on all aspects of the job. The crew was neat, efficient and very professional. Pavers are such a nice embellishment to a home but if they are soiled and lack their original luster it’s nothing but an eyesore. This was well worth the investment and I am extremely satisfied with the final result. Once again I highly recommend this company and you won’t be disappointed!Posted on Google![]()

Professional Paver Cleaning Nassau County
When pavers get properly cleaned and restored, the difference is immediate. Stains lift. Color comes back. Weeds stop pushing through the joints. The driveway or patio you’ve been embarrassed about starts looking like something you’re actually proud of again and that matters in Bethpage, where people have owned their homes for decades and take real pride in how they look.
Here’s what’s actually happening to your pavers if they haven’t been touched in a few years. Bethpage temperatures drop below 50°F for roughly 131 days a year, and the area sees over 42 inches of rain annually. That combination moisture getting into the joints, then freezing, then thawing, then repeating is what cracks the surface, shifts the pavers, and washes out the sand between them. It’s not age alone. It’s the freeze-thaw cycle doing what it does every single winter.
For homes near Bethpage State Park, there’s another layer to it. Pine pollen and organic debris from the park’s forested terrain settle into paver joints and on paver surfaces season after season. That buildup creates the perfect environment for algae and moss to take hold. Once that growth is established, a standard hose-down won’t touch it. It takes the right equipment and the right process not a rental machine from a hardware store.
Paver Cleaning Company Serving Bethpage
We’re a family-owned company based right here on Long Island, serving Nassau and Suffolk counties with a team that carries nearly 50 years of combined experience in paver cleaning, sealing, and restoration. That’s not a number pulled from a marketing sheet it’s the depth of knowledge that shows up when a technician can look at your driveway and immediately know what it needs, what it doesn’t, and why.
Bethpage is core territory for us. The post-war capes and split-levels that make up the majority of homes here most of them built between the 1940s and 1960s often have paver driveways and patios that have been in place for 20, 30, even 40 years. We’ve worked on properties just like yours throughout the Town of Oyster Bay and across central Nassau County, and we know exactly what that era of installation looks like and what it takes to bring it back.
We’re fully licensed and insured, satisfying Nassau County’s Home Improvement Contractor licensing requirements through the Office of Consumer Affairs. That’s not a formality it’s a layer of protection for your property that unlicensed operators simply can’t offer.
Paver Restoration Process in Bethpage, NY
The process starts with an honest assessment of what’s actually going on with your pavers. Are the joints washed out? Is there efflorescence those white mineral deposits sitting on the surface? Are pavers shifted or sinking in spots? That initial read shapes everything that follows, because the right approach for a 30-year-old concrete driveway in Bethpage is not the same as a newer natural stone patio.
From there, the cleaning phase uses commercial-grade hot water systems not the kind of pressure washer you rent for a weekend. The hot water matters because it penetrates and lifts organic staining, oil, and biological growth in a way that cold water equipment simply can’t replicate. For Bethpage homes near the park, that means actually removing the pine pollen and algae that’s been building up in your joints, not just pushing it around. Any efflorescence gets treated and neutralized before sealing if you seal over it, you lock it in permanently, and that’s a mistake that’s difficult and expensive to fix.
Once the surface is clean and fully dry, the joints get filled with polymeric sand. This is a hardening sand that, once activated, locks into place and stays there resisting weeds, erosion, and ant tunneling for up to 10 years. Then the sealer goes on, matched to your specific paver material and the finish you want. Spring and fall are the natural windows for this work in Nassau County, and our schedule tends to fill up quickly in those seasons so earlier is better if you’re planning ahead.

Paver Cleaning and Sealing Services Bethpage
We handle the full scope of what your pavers actually need not just a surface wash. Our work covers paver cleaning, sealing, restoration, repair, polymeric sand installation, and efflorescence treatment, all under one roof. Whether you have a concrete driveway, a brick patio, a natural stone walkway, or a pool surround, the approach is tailored to the material. There’s no one-size-fits-all sealer applied to everything the product and finish are selected based on what’s actually in front of the technician.
For Bethpage homeowners specifically, the most common scenario is a property where the pavers have been in place for two or three decades and have never been professionally cleaned or sealed. The joints are eroded, weeds have established themselves, and the surface color has faded significantly from years of UV exposure and freeze-thaw stress. That’s not a replacement situation in most cases, it’s a restoration situation. If the foundation is stable, the pavers can almost always be brought back. Full paver replacement on Long Island runs well into the thousands of dollars. Restoration is a fraction of that.
We also offer financing options, which makes sense for larger restoration jobs where the scope of work is more involved. If the project is bigger than expected, that option is on the table.
How do I know if my Bethpage pavers need cleaning or full replacement?
This is probably the most common question, and the honest answer is that most homeowners assume replacement is the only option when it usually isn’t. If your pavers are stained, faded, weedy, or have washed-out joints, that’s a cleaning and restoration problem not a structural one. The real question is whether the foundation underneath is still stable. If pavers are shifting or sinking significantly, that points to a base issue that needs to be addressed. But if they’re just visually degraded, restoration is almost always the right call.
Given how much of Bethpage’s housing stock dates back to the 1940s through 1960s, it’s not unusual to find paver driveways and patios that are 25 to 40 years old and have never been professionally serviced. Those pavers look rough, but they’re often structurally sound. We can walk you through that evaluation before any work begins so you’re not guessing.
How often should I have my pavers professionally cleaned and sealed in Nassau County?
For most paver materials in Nassau County, cleaning every one to two years and resealing every two to three years is the right maintenance rhythm. That cadence accounts for what Bethpage winters actually do the freeze-thaw cycles, the moisture, the biological growth that builds up over a Nassau County summer. Letting it go longer than three years between sealings means the sealer has likely worn through in spots, and water is getting into the surface material with nothing to stop it.
One thing worth knowing: if your pavers are newer installed within the last year you should wait at least six months to a year before the first sealing. New pavers need time to cure and allow any efflorescence to surface naturally. Sealing too early traps that mineral activity underneath and creates problems that are harder to fix later. If you’re unsure where your pavers are in that timeline, a quick inspection will give you a clear answer.
What is polymeric sand and why does it matter for my paver driveway or patio?
Polymeric sand is a joint filler that contains binding agents which activate with water and then harden as it dries. Once it sets, it stays it doesn’t wash out after a heavy rain the way regular sand does. For Bethpage homeowners who have spent years watching weeds push up through their paver joints no matter how many times they pull them, polymeric sand is the actual fix. Weed seeds can’t establish roots in hardened joints the way they can in loose sand. It also resists ant tunneling, which is a more common issue than most people realize.
When professionally installed and properly activated, polymeric sand can last up to 10 years. That’s a significant difference from regular sand, which can wash out after just a few storms. It’s one of the steps that separates a professional paver cleaning job from a basic pressure wash and it’s part of the standard process we use on every job where the joints need attention.
Can pine pollen and organic debris from Bethpage State Park actually damage my pavers?
Yes, and it’s more of an issue than most park-adjacent homeowners realize. Pine pollen is a fine, sticky organic material that settles into paver joints and onto paver surfaces in significant quantities each spring. On its own, it’s a staining issue it discolors light-colored pavers and creates a film that regular cleaning struggles to remove. But the bigger problem is what happens over time: that organic material sitting in your joints creates a nutrient-rich environment for algae, moss, and mold to take hold. Once biological growth is established in the joints, it accelerates the degradation of the joint sand and can work its way under the paver surface.
Consumer-grade pressure washers typically can’t fully address this. The hot water systems we use penetrate deeper into the joint and lift organic material that cold-water equipment leaves behind. If your home is anywhere near the park along the eastern corridors of Bethpage or backing up to the park’s perimeter annual cleaning is worth taking seriously, not just for appearance but for the long-term integrity of the hardscaping.
Is paver sealing worth it for a home I'm planning to sell in Bethpage?
Absolutely, and the timing actually works in your favor. Bethpage’s real estate market has been strong median sale prices have climbed significantly in recent years, and first impressions matter in a competitive market. The condition of your driveway and patio is one of the first things a buyer sees, and it sets the tone for how they perceive the rest of the property. Pavers that are stained, faded, or overrun with weeds signal neglect. Pavers that are clean, sealed, and well-maintained signal a home that’s been taken care of.
Real estate professionals consistently identify hardscape condition as a factor that affects both sale price and days on market. Well-maintained hardscaping can contribute meaningfully to home value, and at Bethpage’s current price points, that’s not a small number. The cost of professional cleaning and sealing is modest relative to what it does for the visual presentation of the property. If you’re listing in spring or summer, booking the work in early spring gives you the best window for the job to be done and fully cured before showings begin.
Does Paver Savers work on both driveways and patios in Bethpage, or just one or the other?
We handle both driveways, patios, walkways, pool surrounds, and commercial hardscapes. The materials covered include concrete pavers, brick pavers, and natural stone like bluestone, travertine, and limestone. In Bethpage, where most of the housing stock is post-war single-family homes, the most common projects are driveway restorations and backyard patio cleanings, but we work across all of those surfaces regardless of size or complexity.
The approach does differ depending on the material. A concrete paver driveway that’s been through 30 Nassau County winters needs a different sealer and a different cleaning method than a natural stone patio that’s more sensitive to pressure and chemical exposure. That’s why the assessment step matters it’s not a one-product-fits-all situation. If you have multiple surfaces that need attention, we can evaluate all of them in the same visit and give you a clear picture of what each one needs and what order makes sense to address them.
